The project plans to investigate spatial problems of land use, priority areas for improving approaches to land consolidation in Ukraine, taking into account the peculiarities of the post-war situation. popup.description2 The object of the study is agricultural land, which plays a key role in ensuring food security and the sustainable development of rural areas. The aim of the work is to justify the theoretical and practical foundations for the consolidation of agricultural land in Ukraine in order to increase the efficiency of land use, optimize the structure of agricultural production, and improve the environmental condition of the territory. The main objectives of the study include: analyzing the essence, goals, and approaches to land consolidation; identifying and specifying the preconditions for agricultural land consolidation through the analysis of environmental issues, socio-economic conditions of rural residents, and the fragmentation of land ownership; studying international experience in land consolidation based on the classification of its main types; substantiating the advantages and disadvantages of global approaches; evaluating the potential for adapting international practices to Ukrainian realities; developing recommendations for implementing land consolidation projects in Ukraine. As a result of the study, practical recommendations were proposed to restructure agricultural land ownership in a way that improves the ecological situation, promotes rational land use, and revitalizes rural settlements. The conclusions made can help avoid negative consequences associated with continued land fragmentation. The results can be applied in pilot projects, regional program development, future scientific research, and educational materials for landowners, as well as to support their initiatives within current legal frameworks.
