DATA PROCESSING, COMPUTER SYSTEM. The research object is the process of data processing in computer information systems. The research subject is mathematical models, methods, algorithms, and software for intelligent data processing in computer information systems. The research aims to increase data processing efficiency in computer information systems. Research methods are mathematical and computer modeling, methods of probability theory, mathematical statistics, theory and approximation of functions, optimization theory, theory of algorithms, fuzzy sets, and neural networks. Ways of increasing the efficiency of information technologies and data processing systems and their improvement have been identified and investigated, which are based on the developed new and improved known mathematical models, methods, algorithms, and software for tuning the data processing to a noisy environment, as well as for intelligent processing of multi-channel data, improving image quality, processing and analysis of spectral data, improving the functionality of cross-platform, multi-user and distributed applications and computer systems, and for the optimal functioning and reliability of complex information systems. The scientific novelty of the obtained results is confirmed by scientific publications in periodicals and reports at international and all-Ukrainian scientific conferences. Also, the research has resulted in the receipt of a Ukrainian patent and copyright certificates. The results of the research have been implemented in the educational process of the Department of Computer Science and Information Technology of Oles Honchar Dnipro National University.
