The object of research: physical effects and phenomena in quantum-sized structures, semiconductor ceramics, composite structures, which are intended for the creation of new magnetic materials for recording and saving information, elements of protection of electrical devices from overvoltage and overheating, sensor devices, protective surfaces. The purpose of the work: determination of optimal conditions for the synthesis of nanocrystals, oxide ceramics, composite materials, quantum-sized structures, on the basis of which it is possible to build the latest magnetically sensitive devices, varistors, posistors, thermistors, gas sensors and protective coatings. Research methods: electrical spectroscopy, dielectric spectroscopy, optical spectroscopy, magnetic spectroscopy, radio spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, X-ray phase analysis. Practical results: the technological parameters of the synthesis of ZnO:Mn nanocrystals, ceramic and composite materials, water-foam structure were worked out. Scientific novelty: for the first time, quantum-sized structures based on ZnO:Mn nanocrystals were created by the ultrasonic pyrolysis of aerosols; synthesized new SnO2-based ceramic materials and two-layer composite structures; received the latest protective foam coatings. Relevance of the results: the obtained results are relevant for the development of new magnetic materials for recording and storing information, elements of protection of electrical devices against overload and overheating, sensor devices, coating layers on metal surfaces. Research results have been published in leading international and professional publications, in the proceedings of international and all-Ukrainian scientific conferences, in monographs and training manuals, enshrined in the patent of Ukraine.
