Develop and test methods for habitat diversity inventory and analysis. On the basis of the obtained data, to create registers of types of settlements that need priority protection in view of their sozological status. On the example of model regions of western Ukraine, propose measures for the conservation of biota and landscapes in different conditions of use of the territory, taking into account the principles of the settlement concept of biodiversity conservation. An analysis of habitat diversity by habitat origin (primary, secondary, anthropogenic) in model territories has been conducted. A comparative analysis of the biological characteristics of the identified habitat types of different origins has been conducted. The collection of field materials on the habitat diversity of model regions and territories has been continued.
