The aim of the study is to develop and validate a technology for psychological support of innovative educational activities at a higher education institution. Research methods include empirical and experimental methods focusing on values orientations, personal-professional characteristics of future professionals, soft skills, professional motivation, identity, development of interactive learning technology, and processing and analysis of obtained results. Theoretical and methodological foundations of the psychological and pedagogical principles of professional development of future specialists have been substantiated. The theoretical principles of psychological support for the innovative educational process in higher education institutions, as well as for the professional formation of students at each stage of their professional training, have been developed. The factors and conditions for optimising innovative educational processes in higher education institutions have been identified. The effectiveness of psychological support for innovative educational processes at the university level has been tested. The relationship between the content of value orientations and the level of professional orientation in the context of implementing a gender-based approach in the educational process of higher education institutions has been examined. The influence of innovative teaching technologies and a specially designed educational environment within the university on the professionalisation and personal development of higher education students during their professional training has been determined.
