FORMATION OF AN EFFECTIVE SYSTEM OF PROTECTION OF THE STATE'S CUSTOMS INTERESTS IN THE NATIONAL SECURITY SYSTEM OF UKRAINE. Object of research - processes of ensuring customs interests in the national security system of Ukraine. Purpose - to develop practical recommendations for improving the efficiency of the system of protection of customs interests in the context of modern challenges. Research methods: comparative analysis - by comparing international standards with those of the European Union and other international organizations; analysis and evaluation of statistical data on international trade and traffic flows; systematization and generalization of reports and studies by international organizations involved in customs control; interviews with experts, government officials and customs authorities to identify problematic issues, legislative conflicts and the need to develop a strategy. A comprehensive analysis of the European customs risk management strategy was carried out, taking into account the relevant principles and risk criteria, generalization of the practice of preliminary assessment, electronic information exchange and risk analysis in the EU; scientific and theoretical approaches to the strategy of responding to modern challenges in the field of customs interests protection and customs security, in particular, taking into account the impact of globalization, digitalization and transnational crime, were improved; the role of the human factor in customs risk management was substantiated. A holistic view of the customs risk management system in the EU has been formed, which can serve as a guide for improving the national system, taking into account national specifics and identified strategic priorities.
