With the help of a complex method using chromatography, investigation of the propensity of specified coal bed to spontaneous combustion was carried out. It is established that coal of coalbed l3 in the zones of geological disturbances in the preparatory workings 1 of the northern face of slope No. 1 of w.p. of LLC “Krasnolymanske” is not dangerous for spontaneous combustion.
