Methodology of the study: methods of comparative ecology, post-event and systems analysis. The development of a forest fire database and the analysis of the spatial and temporal patterns of fire occurrence were continued. A database of forest fires from 2007 to 2021 was compiled and supplemented with data from 2022 to 2024, while the updating of the landscape fire database was initiated. The database contains information on landscape type and characteristics, relief, exposure, population density, and proximity to roads, railways, and settlements, among other factors.
