The aim of the study is to establish a cause-and-effect relationship between the environmental and anti-detonation properties of aviation petrol components, to develop formulations and laboratory samples of environmentally safe high-octane aviation petrol modified with components without tetraethyl lead. Research methods: monographic method, analytical methods, systematisation and generalisation, method of reformulating the composition of aviation fuels. The main tasks of the 1st stage of the project were completed: 1) Analysing the availability and feasibility of use on the Ukrainian market and systematising the range of modern anti-detonation additives (components) to aviation gasoline to establish the cause-and-effect relationship between the environmental and anti-detonation properties of aviation gasoline components; 2) The possibility of using low-octane gasoline (straight-run gasoline fraction) and pyrolysis gasoline fraction (pyro-benzene) from polymeric waste to produce a commercial aviation gasoline composition was studied; 3) formulations of new environmentally safe high-octane aviation petrols modified with components free of tetraethyl lead were developed and formulated; 4) laboratory samples of environmentally safe high-octane aviation gasoline modified with components without TPP were produced according to the developed formulations and a certificate of laboratory samples was issued.
