Head Lozytskyi Vsevolod Н., Доктор фізико-математичних наук Registration Date 04-06-2025 Organization Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv popup.description1 Gaining new knowledge about the physical and statistical features of active processes in the Sun, about aerosol pollution of the Earth's atmosphere, as well as new knowledge about the cumulative effect of solar activity and aerosol pollution on surface temperature. popup.description2 The relevance of research within the project is due to the fact that phenomena and processes occur on the Sun that cannot be modeled under terrestrial conditions. Their detailed study is important for fundamental science, as it provides an opportunity to obtain significantly new knowledge about the Universe. In addition, solar activity is the main factor of “space weather”, which has a significant impact on various processes in the geosphere, including the Earth’s climate. The goal of the project is to obtain new, deeper knowledge about the physical and statistical features of active processes on the Sun, about aerosol pollution of the Earth’s atmosphere, as well as new knowledge about the cumulative impact of solar activity and aerosol pollution on surface temperature. The main tasks are: (1) obtaining new observational data from ground-based and orbital telescopes for further development of the problem of particularly strong (≥104 kG) magnetic fields on the Sun; (2) study of the mechanism of excitation of the global migrating hydrodynamic flow and the alternating magnetic field in the convective zone and photosphere of the Sun, taking into account the main MHD effects of its generation, as well as the latest helioseismological data; (3) regular monitoring of aerosols in the Earth's atmosphere according to ground and satellite measurements, analysis of the obtained data in order to determine the essential physical parameters of aerosols and their variations in the Earth's atmosphere; (4) refinement of the forecast of the 25th cycle of solar activity, and based on this forecast and data on aerosol pollution, develop a forecast of climate change in the modern era.  Product Description popup.authors Yefimenko Volodymyr М.
