Taking into account the importance of using an interdisciplinary approach in the educational process of training cadets, the following topical areas of research have been identified, based on the analysis of current trends in the field of military training: - Educational technologies in the formation of media competence of the future officer of the National Guard of Ukraine: fact-checking practices; - Comparative analysis of artificial intelligence models; - Research on the relationship between the microbiome and mental health. The purpose of the 2nd stage of the research was to analyze and assess the current trends in selected areas of innovative research, which resulted in the following:  educational practices of fact-checking will enable future officers of the NGU to acquire knowledge of the latest media, digital tools, search engines, social networks; skills and abilities to analyze and evaluate media messages, their relevance, reliability and recognition of disinformation;  for a full comparative analysis of artificial intelligence models, it is advisable to use a combination of theoretical, experimental and analytical methods. The combination of theoretical content analysis, SWOT analysis, and experimental analysis (Benchmarking) will allow for a comprehensive assessment of AI models and an informed choice of the optimal solution;  microbiome plays a crucial role in the normal brain developmentn, as well as in the modulation of physiological state in stress-related disorders.
