When performing the work, general scientific methods of cognition and special methods (comparative legal, formal legal, special legal, hermeneutic, etc.) were used, which allowed to investigate the categories of civil and economic legislation of Ukraine, problems of lawmaking, determine the formal content of legal norms, contributed to the disclosure of the internal structure of legal relations and the formulation of concepts within the framework of the study. The most significant scientific investigations were the study of a significant number of relations that were not previously regulated at the regulatory level, in particular, the issue of inheritance by heirs who received temporary shelter in the EU; environmental pollution as a violation of the civil right to a safe environment for life and health; the status of gig platforms as business entities; registration of property rights to real estate; contractual structures in the derivatives market; commercial litigation under martial law; ensuring priority payment of wages under martial law, etc., which required immediate theoretical and regulatory regulation. Scientific value and relevance of the obtained results (scientific and technical products): 1) a range of legal categories and definitions have been introduced into scientific circulation both in scientific publications and in separate collections with professional commentary, which will be used in further research; 2) approaches and principles have been proposed in studying the problem of developing the status of gig platforms and hazardous waste management as a means of protecting and safeguarding civil personal non-property rights of an individual.
