Head Kovalchuk Valerii I., Кандидат фізико-математичних наук Registration Date 11-06-2025 Organization Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv popup.description1 The purpose of the study is to determine the molecular mechanisms of physical processes that are the basis for the use of hydrogels in the restoration of damaged biological tissues and controlled kinetics of drug release and their delivery targeting. popup.description2 The relevance of the project is based on the conclusion from the analysis of modern scientific and technical literature: modern hydrogel materials of various biomedical applications, as a rule, are developed empirically without taking into account the molecular processes that form the basis of the formation of their structure and the transport of drugs in such systems. Therefore, it is relevant to develop medical technologies for the treatment of damaged biotissues based on an understanding of the molecular mechanisms of the physical processes occurring in them. The goal is to determine the molecular mechanisms of physical processes that are the basis for the use of hydrogels in the restoration of damaged biotissues and controlled kinetics of drug release and targeting of their delivery. The main objectives of the project: study of the structure, dynamics, transport processes in hydrogel systems filled with nanoparticles of various structures and shapes; study of the kinetics of hydrogel formation, sol-gel transitions, the influence of nanoparticles and ionic impurities, a variable temperature field and intermolecular interactions on the structure of hydrogels, etc. The tasks are aimed at developing molecular models to describe thermal motion in the vicinity of the sol-gel transition temperature; the influence of deformation and curvature of the defect surface on adsorption, regeneration of the intercellular substance of damaged biotissue. The main idea of the project is to apply the fundamental principles of molecular and medical physics to create the latest military-medical technologies based on various hydrogel systems for medical use, which are intended for the treatment of damaged biotissues, as well as the regulation of drug transport, the kinetics of their release and the targeting of their delivery.  Product Description popup.authors Bardyk Vitalii Yu.
