Idea 1. The use of hybrid fillers in a polymer matrix based on a mixture of graphene-like two-dimensional structures, such as graphene, molybdenum disulfide (MoS2), transition metal carbides (MXene). Idea 2. Creation of intercalated and chemically modified graphene-like two-dimensional structures with magnetic metals and their complexes. Idea 3. Creation of a given spatial distribution of 2D structures in a polymer matrix (random, oriented, segregated. The goal of the project is to develop new hybrid nanocomposites (HNCs) using a mixture of graphene-like two-dimensional (2D) nanostructures as a filler and, based on comprehensive theoretical and experimental studies of the relationship between the methods of obtaining, type, structure, phase composition of 2D nanostructures, the nature of their spatial distribution in HNCs and electrodynamic, optical and thermal properties, to obtain materials that will have simultaneously high shielding and absorption characteristics of electromagnetic radiation (EMR) of the microwave and infrared ranges and low thermal conductivity. To achieve the goal, it is planned to perform the following tasks: To achieve the goal, it is planned to perform the following tasks: (i) to develop new and improve existing methods of modifying 2D structures (graphene, MoS2, MXene) and establish the influence of the method of obtaining, type 2D structures on their structure, optical and magnetic properties; (ii) develop new and improve existing methods for forming composites with a given filler distribution in the polymer matrix in order to maximize impedance matching at the surface-environment interface;  Product Description popup.authors Zhuravkov Oleksandr V.
