The total volume is 16 pages, of which the main text is 11 pages. The object of the study is social relations that occur (arise, change and cease) around and regarding the determination, adjustment and appeal of the customs value of goods. The purpose of the study is to solve a scientific problem - to study the problems that arise in the process of choosing a method and numerical value of the customs value and to develop ways to solve them. The methodological basis is made up of general scientific and special methods of cognition: formal-logical and dogmatic, comparative-legal, induction and deduction, system-structural, methods of analysis and synthesis, quantitative and qualitative analysis, statistical, empirical and specific-sociological. The use of these groups of methods allowed us to conduct research on an appropriate methodological basis, adhere to a systematic approach to the study of scientific issues and take into account the unity of its social content and legal form. The scientific novelty of the results obtained lies in the fact that the authors have clarified the legal principles of determining the customs value of goods and appealing the decision to adjust the customs value of goods, and have identified the features of the implementation of the function of customs authorities in controlling the correctness of determining the customs value of goods, in adjusting the customs value of goods. The research work eliminates the deficit in modern scientific works on the subject under consideration and should help the customer to continue to provide legal assistance at a high professional level. The research conducted is a completed work. Directions for further scientific research may relate to the analysis of law-enforcement judicial practice for the purpose of uniform resolution by courts of disputes on appealing the adjustment of the customs value of goods.
