It was determined that digitalization is a key factor in the transformation of tourism in the Donetsk region. An analysis of the impact of digital technologies on the development of the industry was carried out. It was proven that their systematic implementation contributes to the preservation of cultural heritage, the activation of event, museum, volunteer and sports tourism, and the increase in the competitiveness of the region. It was found that the cultural and historical heritage of the Donetsk region can be transformed into high-value tourism products through digitalization. The potential for creating a unique tourism brand using digital solutions was determined. It is proven that ethnocultural resources can become the basis for the development of event and museum tourism in the conditions of digital transformation. The possibilities of using digital tools in museum institutions to create an innovative educational and cognitive space are analyzed. The influence of global volunteer tourism platforms (Workaway, WWOOF, HelpX) is considered. The feasibility of integrating Donetsk Oblast into international volunteer networks to attract tourists to cultural, environmental and educational initiatives is determined. Digital solutions in the organization of tourism during sports events are separately analyzed: logistics, service, communication. The experience of modernizing the tourism infrastructure of the Azov region before the war is studied. It is established that even then the digital transformation of the service sector was recorded.
