The purpose of the study is to reveal the dynamics of natural processes and phenomena on the territory of the reserve, to assess the impact of hostilities and occupation on the state of natural and artificial ecosystems. The research methods used are those generally accepted in meteorology, field geobotany, zoology and dendrology, machine learning, remote sensing, and habitat mapping. Monitoring and assessment of the state of natural ecosystems, collections of the arboretum and zoo, in ecosystems affected by military actions were carried out. The information on the state of water bodies and meteorological characteristics was summarized. Data on the species representation of the Reserve's vascular plant flora and vertebrate fauna, as well as the distribution and habitats of rare vascular plant species, were entered into the GBIF global database. An electronic fire map was created. Retrospective monitoring of fires in the core area was carried out. Proposals for calculating the amount of damage caused by fires were developed. Mapping of the reserve's natural and artificial habitats was completed. The materials of phenological observations of birds are summarized. Some data on the rhythm of development and phenodata of plants of the dendrological park are collected. The current state and generalized information about the animals of the zoo is described. Participation in the development of the definition of ecocide was taken. The formation of willow communities at the bottom of the former Kakhovka Reservoir was analyzed. The results of the research will be used to identify long-term cycles of natural processes in the reserve and to develop measures to preserve biodiversity and restore it in the post-war period.
