Various types of repeat surgical interventions were carried out for patients with different heart defects. Our results showed that repeat interventions can be performed with a low risk. Modification of surgical protocols and improvement of perioperative management led to a reduction in the risk of repeat surgeries to 0.3% and a low complication rate of 2.2%.
