The object of the research is the processes of functioning of hybrid and electric vehicles and their individual components in operation and the corresponding transport infrastructure. The research method is theoretical analysis, electrical engineering tools. Methods for assessing the efficiency of charging stations for electric vehicles and autonomous power sources for electric vehicles based on lithium-ion batteries have been developed, the technical possibility of active balancing of traction batteries in order to increase their operational efficiency has been proposed. The impact of changes in external conditions on the real energy consumption of autonomous power sources and their life cycle has been established, and reserves for increasing fuel efficiency in a powerful transport power plant due to modern control systems have been considered. The issues of the stability of the local electrical system in the presence of alternative energy sources are considered, as well as the prospects for the use of supercapacitor storage devices in local networks. The issues of increasing the efficiency of solar generation are considered by optimizing the placement of solar panels, examples of local use of mobile solar power plants in transport infrastructure are considered.
