The object of the study is the process of developing models of socio-economic processes and systems in the context of sustainable development, the subject is its theoretical and methodological provisions. The goal is to build and study models of socio-economic processes and systems in the context of sustainable development to identify their key features. The research objectives include: studying the theoretical foundations of the functioning of socio-economic processes and systems in the context of sustainable development; monitoring quantitative and qualitative indicators of the functioning of socio-economic processes and systems in the context of sustainable development; creating and improving models of socio-economic processes and systems in the context of sustainable development. The results of the study include the identification of a "fatigue point", which is characterized by the minimization of resource motivation for economic growth, which can only be ensured under conditions of technological innovative transformation and involves optimizing the use of both resources and final products; justification for the use of the logarithmic form for quantitative and qualitative assessment of the motives of individual behavior, which is based on the economic interpretation of the Weber-Fechner law. Methodological approaches to the formation of economic behavior of business entities under the influence of negative external influences in the context of sustainable development, methodological recommendations for the formalization of processes of economic behavior of business entities in the context of sustainable development have been developed.
