The object of the study is the professional activities of practical psychologists in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. The subject of the study is factors and determinants of assessing the professional activities of a psychologist in the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The research methods are determined by the purpose and objectives of the study, in particular, the study and analysis of domestic and foreign literary sources and other materials, including from the Internet, on the problems of regulatory and legal regulation of issues related to ensuring the effectiveness of the professional activities of specialists in the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine; survey of practical psychologists and heads of units in order to outline the effectiveness of methods for assessing psychological work; logical and comparative analysis of existing domestic and foreign practice of assessing personnel of psychological units in law enforcement agencies; generalization of the research results.
