The subject of the study is public management and administration in Ukraine in the context of global challenges and threats. The aim of the research is to provide a theoretical and methodological basis and develop scientific and practical recommendations for improving public management and administration in the context of Ukraine's European integration, taking into account external and internal challenges. The tasks of the research project are: to investigate the theoretical and methodological foundations for improving public management and administration; to investigate ways of adapting the best European practices for implementing the principles of good governance; to provide proposals for the implementation of the concept of performance management in public authorities in order to meet the requirements for obtaining funding from EU funds and to improve the efficiency of the management of the resources received; to develop scientific and practical recommendations for public authorities on improving public management and administration; to introduce the results of the research into the educational process at the university and other educational institutions. Planned results: 2022–2023 academic year — substantiation of theoretical and methodological foundations for improving public management and administration, taking into account internal and external challenges for Ukraine; 2023–2024 academic year — identification of ways to adapt best European practices in public management and administration; 2024–2025 academic year — development of scientific and practical recommendations for improving public management and administration in Ukraine, taking into account global challenges and threats.
