The purpose of the study is to analyze the current regulatory framework for the implementation of state policy in the field of restoration of the territories of Ukraine, to identify its gaps and shortcomings, and to propose ways to improve legislative regulation in view of current challenges. Research methods: analysis and synthesis (for studying theoretical approaches and content of legal acts); systematization (for streamlining legal documents in the field of restoration); comparative legal method (for comparing acts of different levels and analyzing gaps); content analysis (for assessing the content of strategic documents, resolutions, decrees); logical and structural analysis (for formulating proposals for improving legal regulation). The scientific novelty of the study lies in a comprehensive analysis of the legal and regulatory support of the state policy in the field of restoration of the territories of Ukraine under martial law and the post-war transition period. The study summarizes and systematizes the legal acts of 2022-2024 relating to the restoration of territories, with a focus on their coherence and practical implementation; reveals the fragmentation of the current legal framework; and substantiates the need for a single framework law “On the Restoration of Territories”.
