The object of the research is power systems incorporating elements of distributed generation. The goal is to justify and develop scientific and methodological recommendations to the organizational and economic models formation to ensure the energy systems with elements of distributed generation stability rationale and develop. The research methodology includes theoretical analysis and experiments. A concept was proposed for the transformation of the institutional matrix under the influence of technological innovations that support the spread of prosumerism. The study identified the optimal balance between the market-based and prosumer components of the national energy system. Experimental research was conducted at the "Sukha Balka" mine, evaluating mine hoisting equipment as potential sources of electric power. Additionally, field tests were performed on a cogeneration module at the “Pokrovske” mine administration. Bricolage models proposed for use in the transportation, industrial, and municipal sectors are expected to yield significant savings in national investment and energy resources. The outcomes of the research have been disseminated through scientific publications and considered in a number of policy documents submitted to government authorities.
