This study is dedicated to the examination of the collection of liturgical vessels from the National Preserve «Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra» specifically chalices. The research aims to identify the artistic characteristics of chalices from various historical periods and regions of origin, clarify the attribution of chalices, and introduce new items from the collection into scientific circulation. General scientific and specialized methods were employed in the study: historical, art-historical, theological, and cultural studies. The following carried out: statistical processing of data from the collection documentation, visual examination of the items, and the creation of descriptions. A comparative analysis of the iconography of chalices from different time periods and places of produced. As a result, based on the obtained data, the collection was systematized, the attribution of several items was refined, and a number of chalices were introduced into scientific circulation. The goal of the work is a comprehensive study of the chalice collection, a detailed artistic, stylistic, and iconographic analysis of the items, clarification of their attribution, and systematization of the collection. Objectives: visual examination of the chalices in the collection; analysis of literary and archival sources on the research topic; comparison of the iconographic schemes of chalices; identification of characteristic features of their forms and constructions; processing and generalization of the results.
