Research subject: Discrete models of objects with distributed parameters, methods of their construction and application based on a combination of the ontological approach and interval data analysis. The aim of the project is to develop methods and means for constructing discrete models of objects with distributed parameters in the form of interval difference equations based on a combination of the ontological approach and interval data analysis to expand the scope and conditions of application of the model while ensuring its specified predictive properties. Practical results: A concept for the identification of interval discrete models of complex objects has been developed based on a combination of interval data analysis methods and a knowledge-oriented approach to both the description of the subject area of the object under study and the area of construction of this class of mathematical models using ontology. A new hybrid method for structural and parametric identification of interval discrete models of complex objects has been developed, which, unlike existing analogues, including foreign ones, is based on a combination of interval analysis methods, behavioural models of bee colonies, and knowledge an ontology-based approach to describing the subject area of objects, which together have reduced the computational complexity of structural identification. The experiments showed that as the size and complexity of the identification task increases, the effectiveness of the adaptive adjustment procedure for selecting structural elements significantly increases. An approach to building mathematical and computer models using and combining interval data analysis methods and ontological analysis methods to improve the predictive characteristics of models has been proposed.
