The following layers were discovered at the site: Paleolithic, Neolithic (Linear culture), Eneolithic (Trypillian culture – Zalishchyky group, Shipinitsy group, Koshylivtsy group), Early Bronze Age (Mezhanovitska culture), Middle Ages (Galician Rus). Connections of prehistoric cultures of Upper Dniester area have been discovered. In the Neolithic time (VI millennium BC), the population of the Linear culture had contacts with the Criš culture and the Tiszadob local group. In the Eneolithic time, the population of the Trypillian culture of the Zalishchyky group (late 5th millennium BC) communicated with people of the Malica culture, the Lublin-Volhynia culture, and the Tyszapolgár culture.
