The report presents the results of the work on the study of the technological and adaptive potential of a group of table and technical grape varieties of different genetic and geographical origin. The purpose of the research is to investigate the technological and adaptive potential of promising introduced varieties and forms in order to improve theoretical and practical foundations of introduction and increase the efficiency of the use of grape varieties of different genetic and geographical origin in modern breeding programs. The collection was replenished with 36 variety samples. In order to fulfill a number of breeding tasks (creation of varieties with a muscat aroma, early ripening dark-colored, varieties with large berries, etc.), an analysis of the ampelographic collection was carried out for the presence of donor varieties of the above-mentioned traits of breeding interest. A group of varieties was isolated, promising in terms of a set of characteristics. The main indicators of productivity, product quality and adaptive properties of a group of introduced varieties of different genetic and geographical origin were studied. In the difficult conditions of the 2021 growing season - the aftermath of the 2020 drought and the epiphytotic development of pathogens of fungal etiology - the table varieties Rochefort, Neptune, Kishmysh Nakhodka, Muscat Donetsk, Slava Ukrainy were isolated, which showed sufficiently high productivity and quality of products. Among the technical varieties, the highly adaptive varieties of the selection of the NSC "IViV named after V.E. Tairov" Rubin Tairovsky and Muscat Odessa stood out. These varieties showed a high level of adaptability to the adverse conditions of the 2021 growing season and can be used as donor varieties for a complex of economically valuable traits.
