The establishment of the geopolitical subjectivity of Ukraine in the context of modern challenges is relevant not only for Ukraine, but also for the European and world community, since in the context of a full-scale war between Ukraine and the Russian Federation, Ukraine is an outpost of Western democracies. Purpose of the work: to identify key drivers and barriers that influence the strengthening of the geopolitical subjectivity of Ukraine in the context of increasing modern challenges. Main tasks: to analyze the historiographical and source base of the NDR, outline its characteristic trends; to identify the essential features of the geopolitical subjectivity of Ukraine; to investigate the stages of the formation of the geopolitical subjectivity of Ukraine; to identify key factors of the state's foreign and domestic policy that influence the formation of the geopolitical subjectivity of Ukraine; to determine the role of ambivalent global trends in the formation of the country's image and geopolitical subjectivity; to identify the peculiarities of the influence of the Orange Revolution and the Revolution of Dignity, as well as the role of hybrid war and Russian military aggression on the formation of geopolitical subjectivity, its dynamics; to identify markers of soft and hard power of the Ukrainian state, their potential and format of involvement in basic strategies for strengthening geopolitical subjectivity; to analyze the prospects and potential of the main geopolitical paradigms as ideological concepts of basic strategies for overcoming Russian expansion and strengthening geopolitical subjectivity.
