The purpose of the work is to develop a method for safely conducting mining operations in hazardous coal seams using drilling equipment on a combine, in accordance with regulatory requirements. Research methods are analysis and generalization of theoretical and experimental data, calculations using standard methods. As a result of the work, an analysis of known mining combines, the basic principles of their automation, and an analysis of methods for safely conducting mining operations in hazardous coal seams using drilling equipment on a combine were performed. A method for preventing gas-dynamic phenomena during the combined mining of preparatory mining operations and a method for using a mining combine when opening a hazardous coal seam at the Krasnolymanskaya mine were developed. A methodology for safe mining operations in hazardous coal seams by drilling advanced wells under the control of acoustic forecasting in mining and geological conditions of Krasnolymanske LLC has been developed. The “Methodology for conducting mining and experimental operations in mining and geological conditions of Krasnolymanske LLC”, “Methodology for conducting industrial tests of the method of combine mining with well drilling as an anti-ejection device”, “Methodology for research on establishing safe parameters for mining by a combine with well drilling in a hazardous coal seam” have been developed.
