The subject of the study is the theoretical and methodological principles and practical tools for assessing the effectiveness of innovative activity of hotel and restaurant complexes in the context of increasing the competitiveness of hospitality enterprises. The purpose of the work is to substantiate theoretical and methodological provisions and develop practical recommendations for assessing the innovative activity of hotel and restaurant complexes in the context of ensuring their adaptability to the challenges of the modern hospitality sector. Research methods. In the process of conducting the research, the following methods were used: abstract-logical (at the stage of generalizing theoretical and methodological provisions and formulating conclusions); economic and statistical analysis (to assess the innovative activity of domestic hotel and restaurant complexes and identify trends in the hospitality sector); graphic (for a visual presentation of the research results). The scientific novelty of the work lies in the development of conceptual principles and methodological tools for a comprehensive assessment of the innovative activity of a hotel and restaurant complex, which differs from existing approaches by taking into account the synergistic effect of integrating different types of innovations in the multifunctional structure of a hospitality enterprise and allows to increase the accuracy of assessing the effectiveness of innovative processes.
