The evaluation of economic potential is a key aspect of strategic planning and management, particularly under the conditions of business process digitalization and the global economic environment. An analysis of contemporary methods for assessing economic potential has been conducted, and recommendations for their improvement have been formulated with consideration of digital technologies. Special attention is given to the study of factors influencing the economic potential of large enterprises, such as technological innovations, shifts in the global economic environment, and internal organizational changes. Under conditions of instability, these factors become critical for maintaining and strengthening entrepreneurial competitiveness. The study investigates the factors affecting the economic potential of large enterprises in times of instability, including technological changes, market fluctuations, financial risks, and other external and internal determinants. It is established that effective accounting and information support is critical for timely responses to challenges and opportunities arising in a volatile economic environment. Modern methods and tools of accounting and reporting are analyzed, and recommendations are proposed for their improvement with due consideration of digital innovations. Particular emphasis is placed on the implementation of automated accounting systems, the use of Big Data, and analytical platforms to enhance the transparency and accuracy of financial information. Finally, proposals are formulated for determining the vectors of development and improvement of accounting and information support for the resource management system of economic entities in the context of the digital economy.
