 The paper provides proposals for improving theoretical, methodological and practical provisions on the formation of adaptation mechanisms of the financial system of Ukraine in the face of modern challenges. The study of theoretical approaches to the formation of mechanisms and stages of innovation creation was carried out, a mechanism for innovative development of an enterprise was proposed, the product policy of an innovative enterprise was analyzed, approaches to the commercialization of innovations were presented, and the conditionality of investments in the high-tech sector of the Ukrainian economy was determined. The banking sector is analyzed in the context of modern challenges, the characteristics of the modern banking system of Ukraine are given, and approaches to improving the interaction between banks and domestic enterprises in the context of modern challenges are proposed. The theoretical and methodological foundations of the formation of comprehensive diagnostics in ensuring the economic security of an insurance company are considered, the role and significance of comprehensive diagnostics in ensuring the economic security of an insurance company are determined, and methodological approaches to conducting comprehensive diagnostics in ensuring the economic security of an insurance company are proposed.
