Modern research shows that the restoration of degraded soils requires a scientifically sound approach based on a detailed study of the physicochemical properties of damaged areas, adaptation of agrotechnical measures, as well as the use of modern technologies, such as phytoremediation. The scientific support of this process should take into account the specifics of the combat impact on the soil, in particular the presence of explosive residues, structural disruption and pollution. It is proposed to consider reclamation as a complex of interdisciplinary measures - legal, financial, technical and land management, implemented in cooperation between state bodies, local governments and land users. Key problems are identified: insufficient funding for scientific research, the absence of a single methodological base and regulatory standards. In this context, the creation of new legislative acts, the development of state support programs, and the involvement of the public in the planning and implementation of reclamation measures are becoming priorities.
