Thermal and structural calculations of an air heater were carried out, which made it possible to determine its optimal geometric parameters, select materials with regard to thermal conductivity and corrosion resistance, as well as define operating modes that minimize heat losses. The optimization of the structural design was performed to ensure reliability and durability under long-term operation conditions. Approaches to optimizing the production process of porous thermal insulation materials have been developed, and ways to improve the quality and stability of the products have been proposed by refining the technology of material structure formation and controlling its porosity. Mathematical models have been created to determine the optimal heat treatment regimes, which take into account the combined influence of temperature, treatment duration, and material moisture content. This made it possible to justify the regimes that provide an improvement of thermal insulation properties while maintaining a sufficient level of strength and operational reliability of insulation products.
