The purpose of the work is scientific justification and practical verification of the effectiveness of the use of alternative sources of protein and feed additives in combination with the use of different genotypes of pigs to increase productivity and economic efficiency of pork production. Research methods are zootechnical (conducting experiments on animals, determining productivity indicators), physiological (blood tests), chemical (chemical analysis of feed), statistical (biometric processing of results), analytical (generalization of research results). A review of scientific research on the use of alternative sources of protein in pig feeding was conducted. It has been established that traditional protein components of diets have a number of limitations in terms of availability and cost, while insect protein products are characterized by high nutritional value and are able to partially replace soybean meal without worsening growth and health indicators of animals. Experimental studies have proven the positive effect of ProtiNOVA protein powder, sorbent additive "MikoStop", feed acidifier "Kormocid" and enzyme preparation "Celozym" on growth rate, feed conversion, hematological blood profile and meat productivity of young pigs. It has been established that the use of hybrid F1 gilts (Large White × Landrace) in combination with Duroc and Pietren boars provides an increase in reproductive and fattening indicators and improved meat qualities of the offspring. Based on the results of the research, an effective method of increasing pig productivity has been proposed, which is available for use in pig breeding and fattening farms and ensures increased meat productivity.
