The purpose of the work is to develop theoretical and methodological support for assessing the export-import potential of an enterprise in conditions of limited activity and practical recommendations for the formation of management decisions based on this assessment. To achieve the set goal and solve the research tasks, the following general scientific and special research methods were used in the work: abstract-logical method, systematic approach, methods of analysis and synthesis - to improve the meaningful definition of the export-import potential of enterprises (EIPP) and the theoretical basis of assessment in the economy; graphical method – for visualization of the obtained results; canonical analysis – for identification and description of factors that influence the EIPP. Compliance with the provisions for assessing the efficiency of using the export-import potential of an enterprise provides opportunities to manage activities on a scientific basis. Methodological support for assessing the efficiency of using the export-import potential of industrial enterprises is proposed. The economic effect is ensured by determining effective directions and reserves of the enterprise's efficiency, its economic sustainability in modern conditions. The social effect is a national commercial development that contributes to determining ways to implement the National Economic Strategy for the period of martial law and the post-war period.
