The subject of research is the influence of parameters, characteristics, and type of fire protection system on the process of maintaining its operational suitability (maintenance). Substantiate the requirements for maintaining operational suitability (maintenance) of fire protection systems to ensure their operability and minimize losses in the event of a possible fire. Research methods: during the work, scientific methods of complex analysis and generalization, methods of experimental research according to the developed program and methodology, methods of mathematical statistics for processing the results of experimental research, methods of conducting a full-factor experiment, a method of analyzing the impact and tracking the effectiveness of a regulatory act were used. The scientific novelty of the obtained results of the scientific research lies in revealing the patterns of influence of parameters of dangerous fire factors on the design of express testing means of fire detectors and characteristics of fire detectors. The result of the work is: "Rules for maintaining the operational suitability (maintenance) of fire protection systems of buildings, buildings, structures and their parts."
