Special attention is given to refining the methodological approach to investment strategy formation, considering contemporary challenges such as market instability, behavioural factors, asset digitalization, and the growing role of decentralized financial technologies (DeFi). The aim of the research is to develop methodological principles and practical recommendations for the advancement of digital financial technologies under conditions of economic digitalization. The object of the study is investment activity in the digital environment, while the subject is the methods of forecasting, evaluating, and managing investment portfolios with consideration of risk and uncertainty. The research applies econometric modelling techniques (ARIMA, GARCH, LASSO, LSTM), time series analysis, multifactor analysis, as well as tools from deep learning and reinforcement learning for dynamic portfolio rebalancing. An integrated criterion for portfolio performance evaluation is proposed, which incorporates financial, social, and technological parameters -particularly relevant for assessing the investment attractiveness of DeFi protocols. The practical significance of the study lies in the applicability of the developed models to improve the resilience of investment strategies, mitigate risks, and ensure adaptability to market dynamics. The results can be used by both traditional financial institutions and innovative digital ecosystems, particularly in the oil and gas extraction sector, where digital financial solutions enable efficient funding of technologies for the production and combustion of composite fuels derived from oil and gas industry waste.
