The aim of the research is to develop methodological principles and practical recommendations for improving corporate finance systems as a foundation for managing the development of business entities. The object of the study is the corporate finance system of enterprises operating under conditions of economic uncertainty, energy crisis, and wartime challenges—particularly in strategically important sectors. The subject of the research includes financial mechanisms, instruments, and models for improving corporate finance as a basis for effective enterprise development management. These mechanisms incorporate strategic planning, risk management, environmental responsibility, and innovative technologies. The research applies classical methods of financial analysis (DCF, NPV, IRR), scenario modeling, sensitivity analysis of financial indicators, green finance mobilization techniques, and an integrated approach to balancing economic efficiency, social legitimacy, and environmental safety in decision-making. Empirical analysis was conducted using case studies of enterprises in the energy and transport sectors in the Kharkiv region. The results obtained have significant practical value for enterprises engaged in oil and gas extraction, as well as for public and private organizations implementing recovery and transformation projects in Ukraine’s energy sector. The proposed approaches can be used to optimize corporate financial policy, manage investment flows, and shape adaptive business strategies in environments characterized by risk, uncertainty, and resource constraints.
