The project covered both field research and theoretical generalizations, which allowed to reveal more deeply the essence of Karaimism, its principles, the distribution area. The historical prerequisites for the emergence of Karaimism as a separate religious direction, its spread in Eastern Europe, have been established. Arhival materials and evidence of local residents on the traditions of constructin and changes in architecture are collected. The basic principles of karaimism, the activities of sponsors and spiritual leaders of the Karaite communities are characterized. The basic methods for the analysis of sedurs (prayer books) from the museum collection, their further research and digitization are identified. The history and architectural features of Kenasa Halych, religious, cultural and educational activities of Gazana are analyzed. The study emphasizes the difference between karaimism and Judaism, highlights its moral and ethical preconditions. Archival materials and evidence of local residents on the traditions of construction and changes in architecture are collected. Materials can be used in educational programs, tourist initiatives and cultural and artistic projects to promote the Karaite cultural heritage. Conclusion: The stage of Karaimism research has allowed systematically to reveal the foundations of karaimism, to trace its historical prerequisites, geography of spread, to outline the role of the Karaite community of Halych in preserving spiritual and cultural heritage. The materials obtained are important for further scientific research. They can also be used in educational programs, museum, tourist, cultural and artistic projects aimed at studying, research, popularization of the ancient Karaite heritage.
