The purpose of the work – analysis of the literature to determine the current state in the field of creating slide bearings based on polymer matrices, in particular fluoroplastic, determining the directions of creating a new composite antifriction material, carrying out work on modernization of technological equipment. This work analyzes literary and patent sources on the creation of sliding bearings based on polymer matrices, in particular PTFE, and the influence of fillers of various nature, shape and size on the tribological parameters of antifriction materials. It was established that the most effective are bearings based on PTFE, filled with micro-sized and, especially, nano-sized fillers. A method for manufacturing an antifriction nanocomposite material based on PTFE, filled with micro- and nanoparticles of various nature, shape and size, has been determined.
