Head Kornus Olesia Н., Кандидат географічних наук Registration Date 20-11-2025 Organization Sumy State Pedagogical University named after A. S. Makarenko popup.description1 Nosogeographic monitoring the health status of the population at various hierarchical levels (global and regional). Investigate the conditions and factors of influence on the health status of the population. Improve the methodology for nosogeographic monitoring of the health status of the population. Create a series of thematic maps and substantiate directions for maintaining health and improving the medical and demographic situation. popup.description2 Within the framework of the reporting stage of the research project, a comprehensive study was conducted on the spatial and temporal characteristics of morbidity in the population of Sumy Region and adjacent areas in the context of the nosogeographical approach. Official statistical data on the main classes of diseases according to ICD-10 were collected, systematized, and analyzed. A series of analytical maps was constructed to illustrate the levels of overall and primary morbidity, mortality, and the demographic situation. Regional and local differences in the prevalence of cardiovascular, endocrine, mental, infectious, and other diseases were identified. Spatial patterns and medical-geographical risks associated with environmental conditions, urbanization, and the level of medical care were revealed. A clustering of territories by morbidity and mortality indicators was carried out, and zones of high and moderate epidemiological burden were distinguished. Methodological principles of nosogeographical monitoring were developed, and an algorithm for forecasting morbidity and mortality from cardiovascular diseases until 2025 was tested. Approaches to medical-geographical mapping were improved, and a scheme for assessing the level of medical and sanitary provision of territories was proposed. The practical value of the obtained results lies in their potential application to enhance the effectiveness of public health management, particularly under conditions of wartime threats and demographic crisis. The developed methodological approaches to nosogeographical monitoring make it possible to promptly identify areas with high morbidity rates, determine the most vulnerable population groups, and assess the accessibility of medical services in specific settlements and territorial communities.
