A methodological approach to modernizing the infrastructure sector of the regional economy is proposed, based on scientifically sound principles of transformational transitions. This approach envisages transitioning the infrastructure space from a traditional functional-sectoral model to a flow-network model, creating new opportunities for business development. A conceptual model of infrastructure transformations in the regional economic space is developed and substantiated, taking into account the principles of sustainable development. This model outlines the contours of logistics competencies, critical infrastructure, infrastructure transformations, and the socialisation of infrastructure services, taking into account national, regional, sectoral, and individual interests. This approach helps to attract private investment and stimulates entrepreneurial activity. A strategy for modernising the infrastructure sector of the regional economy in the context of European integration is developed, which includes the specification of institutional, economic, and information mechanisms for its implementation. This makes it possible to enhance the investment attractiveness of infrastructure projects, expand opportunities for business, and ensure the sustainable development of the regions.
