The objective of this scientific research project (SRP) is to enhance the comminution efficacy (shredding/mulching) of crop residues at FE "LIK" through the application of non-driven working elements (tools/implements). In the course of the SRP execution, an analytical assessment of the FE "LIK" field maps and technical provisioning was carried out. Specifically, the machinery park inventory and the technical status of the equipment available to the enterprise were studied. Furthermore, engineering calculations were performed to determine the technological and energetic performance metrics (indicators) of a roller-chopper (mulcher). The research encompassed the investigation of applying a resource-saving technology (Resource-Efficient Technology), and a quantitative and analytical justification was provided for modifications to the existing cultivation technology (cropping system) for cereal crops at FE "LIK." The research culminated in substantiated conclusions and recommendations regarding the technical feasibility and economic viability of implementing this refined technology at FE "LIK." The results obtained from the SRP now form the basis of scientific and methodological guidelines concerning the application of the KP-4.5 roller-chopper at FE "LIK."
