During the reporting period, the research work on the topic “Current Issues of World History and International Relations in the Context of Past and Present Realities” focused on analyzing key events, processes, and trends in the development of world history and contemporary international politics. The study made it possible to identify the connections between historical precedents and current global processes, particularly in the areas of diplomacy, security, and international cooperation. As part of the work, archival documents, statistical materials, memoirs, and scholarly publications by Ukrainian and foreign authors were systematically analyzed. Interdisciplinary methods were applied, including comparative analysis, historical reconstruction, content analysis, and a problem-chronological approach. This allowed for the formation of a comprehensive understanding of the historical process as a system in which political, economic, social, and cultural factors interact. Methodological recommendations were developed for teaching world history and international relations, as well as for involving students in research activities. The results of the work can be used in educational programs, scientific publications, and analytical activities in governmental institutions and strategic planning centers. The practical value of the work lies in training competent professionals for the fields of education, diplomacy, and security, enhancing the level of historical culture in society, and developing the analytical potential of the scientific community. Thus, the reporting period ensured the consolidation of scientific approaches to the study of world history and international relations, contributed to the development of new methodological and educational tools, and laid the foundation for further research in this important area.
