Developing national standards identical to harmonized European counterparts to operationalize Article 17 of the Law of Ukraine 'On the Provision of Construction Products on the Market' (transposing EU Regulation 305/2011) and to prepare Ukraine for the ACAA Agreement (construction products section) under the Ukraine-EU Association Agreement.

The object of the development is geotextiles and geotextile-related products. The purpose of the development is to elaborate national standards that are identical to the corresponding harmonized European normative documents, in order to implement the provisions of Article 17 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Provision of Construction Products on the Market,” which transposes EU Regulation No. 305/2011, and to prepare Ukraine for signing the ACAA Agreement (in the part concerning construction products), as envisaged by the EU–Ukraine Association Agreement. During the implementation of the development, the following tasks were consistently addressed: draft National Standards of Ukraine were developed, agreed upon, and submitted for adoption in the prescribed manner, namely: DSTU EN 13249:202_ (EN 13249:2016, IDT); DSTU EN 13250:202_ (EN 13250:2016, IDT); DSTU EN 13251:202_ (EN 13251:2016, IDT); DSTU EN 13252:202_ (EN 13252:2016, IDT); DSTU EN 13253:202_ (EN 13253:2016, IDT); DSTU EN 13254:202_ (EN 13254:2016, IDT); DSTU EN 13255:202_ (EN 13255:2016, IDT); DSTU EN 13256:202_ (EN 13256:2016, IDT); DSTU EN 13257:202_ (EN 13257:2016, IDT); DSTU EN 13265:202_ (EN 13265:2016, IDT).
