Development of a technology for creating modulation disks for encoders using the direct laser writing method. This method is distinguished by the absence of the need for precision templates and the ability to quickly change information sequences on the disks. The development includes the creation of an algorithm for calculations and the structure of information sequences for laser writing. The optical quality is improved due to the contactless manufacturing process, which eliminates defects associated with photomask contamination.

A comprehensive set of scientific and technological activities has been carried out to develop a modernized technological platform for direct laser recording of modulation disks. The technical requirements for the laser source, optical recording parameters and permissible deviations have been identified, and criteria for exposure quality and focusing accuracy have been established. The components of the laser recording station have been selected with consideration of the optical properties of the recording medium, the geometry of the information pattern and the requirements for spatial stability of laser beam control. An optical system has been designed with functions for beam focusing, stabilization, intensity modulation and quality control, along with a mechanical system for rotational drive and radial positioning. Algorithms for calculating laser recording parameters have been developed and the principles of organizing the technological process have been formalized. A high-precision incremental encoder has been integrated and a spindle rotation control system has been created to ensure a constant linear exposure speed. A series of prototype modulation disks has been fabricated using direct laser recording, and a statistical analysis of the obtained results has been conducted.
