The mechanisms of long-term soil seed bank formation have been identified, and a classification of chority types has been developed, which made it possible to determine prognostic indicators of weed population dynamics. It has been proven that the highest efficiency in controlling segetal vegetation is ensured by an integrated approach that combines optimal crop density, mechanical treatments, and the application of herbicides in minimally effective doses. This reduces the chemical load on the agroecosystem, preserves biodiversity, and at the same time increases crop productivity. It was established that weed species with short chority (Amaranthus retroflexus, Chenopodium album, Raphanus raphanistrum) can be effectively controlled with one-time measures in the first year. Intermediate species (Echinochloa crus-galli, Solanum nigrum, Polygonum persicaria) require repeated control, while persistent species (Fumaria officinalis, Viola arvensis, Galium aparine, Polygonum convolvulus) demand a long-term integrated approach. A methodological framework has been developed for assessing the environmental safety of weed control systems, combining multifactor field experiments, biometric analysis, and modeling of long-term population changes. The practical significance of the results lies in the development of scientifically grounded recommendations for zoned integrated crop protection systems, which ensure an increase in maize yield by 1.2–1.6 t/ha and an economic effect of up to 3.0 thousand UAH/ha. The obtained results contribute to reducing pesticide use, enhancing the resilience of agroecosystems, and adapting agricultural production to climate change.
