The object of the study is the system of technical education in England in 1870–1914.The purpose of the research work is to study the historical backgrounds and positive experience of the main features of the development of technical education in England in 1870–1914. The system of technical education influences the social and economic spheres and has a significant impact on the labor, goods, services, and capital markets. Educators and scholars from various countries have worked on the issues of organizing, structuring, and modelling the content of technical education, defining methodological approaches to implementing its requirements throughout its historical development. However, despite the considerable history of studying this matter, it remains relevant, as the demands of the time, approaches, and perspectives on solving the problem continue to change.
